Middle School History Teacher

Forcey Christian School is looking for a full time middle school history teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. Job requirements include a love of history, instructing students, creating lesson plans, assigning and correcting homework, managing students in the classroom, communicating with parents, and timely reporting of grades in our school’s database. Candidates should also be adept in the use of technology and the ability to incorporate it into daily activities with students.

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in education. Secondary education degree or certificate is preferred.

Teacher's Aide

Forcey Christian School is looking for a teacher's aide for the 2021-22 school year. Duties include morning crossing guard, teacher’s assistant, and recess aide. The position is paid hourly during the school year from August 30 through June 15.

Candidates should have a minimal high school diploma or equivalent and submit to a state and federal criminal background check.

Teacher’s Aides play a supporting role in helping students become motivated learners with the skills to succeed in life. Aides assist teachers in managing all aspects of their respective classrooms and supervise students with and without a teacher present.

Band Teacher

Forcey Christian School is looking for a part time band teacher for the upcoming 2021-22 school year. The position is paid hourly with paid planning time. Responsibilities include teaching afterschool upper elementary students and middle school band as part of the school day. Additional responsibilities include management of  instrumental rentals for students, planning of group lessons, management of student behavior, establishing and maintaining communication with parents, and planning and overseeing the Christmas and year end band musical programs.

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in teaching brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments to children and a bachelor’s degree.
