Kindergarten through 5th Grade
Students entering our elementary school program engage in authentic learning experiences from the day they walk into kindergarten. By the end of fifth grade, students will have acquired solid foundational skills to lead to success throughout their academic careers.
- an interactive conceptual understanding approach to mathematics
- creative and engaging language arts
- an introduction to the diversity of our world in social studies
- inquiry-based hands-on science investigations and
- study of the richness of God’s Word and character in their Bible classes.
Additionally, language clubs, STEM clubs, band, physical education, music, chess clubs and a host of other enrichment opportunities are made available to our students.
Students in grades 1 – 8 also take the nationally normed, standardized Terra Nova battery of tests each spring.
Congratulations to our 5th Grade Reading Enrichment Students!
They entered their poems into the 2022 Creative Communications Spring Poetry Contest and received an invitation to have their poems published in an anthology of poems. Thousands of entries nationwide are judged. Every one of these Forcey 5th graders’ poems was determined to be of high merit worthy of publishing. This is quite an achievement.
A big shout out to Mrs. Loys for her dedication to our enrichment program here at FCS!
Congratulations to these published authors: Akin Alade, Siennie Assegid, Carter Baker, Olivia Chew, Pablo Dominguez, Sophie Nganga, Eden Tang, Rebekah Tewodros, Ally Wong, and Bella Yousaf!
