Forcey Christian School is looking for a part-time band teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

The position is paid hourly with paid planning time.

Responsibilities include teaching afterschool upper elementary students and middle school band as part of the school day. Additional responsibilities include: establishing and maintaining effective communication with parents, managing instrument rentals for students, planning group lessons, managing student behavior, and planning and overseeing Christmas and year-end band musical programs.

Opportunities to teach private lessons are available if interested.

Experience in teaching woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments to children is required.

Education: Music degree and/or musical training required.
