Welcome to the Library

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19

Our theme this year is to be anchored in Christ and in good books. Only by having a firm foundation in our faith in Jesus and our studies can we grow as loving Christians and successful students!

Forcey students and parents are welcome in the library! PreK – 5th Grade classes have a designated time to visit the library weekly.  Students may listen to a story, browse for books, and learn how to use the library and its resources.  Middle school students may visit the library with a class or on their own.  Parents may also get a library card and check out books!

FCS students look forward to this sale all year! There are books for all ages, and these books are sold inexpensively. If you have books in good condition and would like to donate them to the used book sales, please place them in the book bin located near the Security Desk.

The used book sale is typically held toward the end of the school year. Please check back for Save the Date information.

Don’t be surprised if you discover your next great read or new favorite author in this book hunt adventure!

Friends of the Library

From time to time, Forcey’s cherished library needs volunteers to help with fun projects like the book fair or everyday help with mending books. As a library volunteer, your impact is schoolwide. Answer the call as a library superhero on the front lines of the register at the book fair or a secret hero behind the scenes repairing books so they can get back into circulation. For information on volunteer opportunities, please reach out to Hannah Groom, library media specialist.
