Health Team Overview

The School Registered Nurse functions as a part of the school’s multidisciplinary team to bridge the gap between health, wellness and learning. Working with parents, other health professionals and school staff, the school nurse provides services for students that promote optimum health for academic success. The FCS Health Team provides the expertise to identify, assess, plan, implement and evaluate the health needs of the school community. Program emphasis is directed toward prevention of disease and promotion of health utilizing health services, health counseling, and health education. The health team supports Forcey Christian School and helps reduce interruptions to student learning.

COVID CRISIS COMMUNICATION POLICY

  • Forcey Christian School applies State and local school district policy and procedures, for our applicable standards of practice, which may be subject to change in relation to our county community levels.
    • The Health Team strongly encourages parents or caregivers to monitor their children for symptoms of illness every day. Families can conduct home screenings reporting to their answers on two topics: the presence of COVID-19 related symptoms and close/potential exposure.
