Happy New Year from the Forcey Christian School Office!
- FCS is having an open house for prospective families on Thursday, January 25 from 6-8:00 pm. Tell your friends and family that might be interested in private Christian school options for their children. The open house is also a great opportunity for PreK families to check out our kindergarten program and fifth grade parents to check out our middle school program.
- The Forcey Spirit Wear website is active and ready for ordering! We are extremely excited to offer our official and approved Forcey Spirit Wear! The Website is www.forceyspiritwear.com
- You will have the option to ship to Forcey Christian School, we cannot guarantee an arrival and distribution date by the Christmas break. There will not be any staff available to distribute Spirit Wear during the Christmas Break.
- If there are any discrepancies with your order, please call the number on your receipt.
- Wearing Spirit Wear: Spirit Wear can be worn every Friday during the 2023-2024 school year. Uniform bottoms will be worn with a Spirit Wear top. Spirit Wear can be worn with the PE uniform.
- Let us work together to keep our school healthy! As a reminder, please keep your student home if they have a fever of 100.4 or higher*, have vomited*, had episodes of diarrhea* or have a consistent runny nose that requires frequent use of tissues. On a related note; Your student must be symptom free for 24 hours without the use of symptom reducing medications. Please remember that if your student has seen a physician or is under medical care to contact the nurse directly and provide medical documentation to return to school.
*Within the past 24 hours. - After School Clubs will begin the week of 1/22. It’s not too late to sign up! Look for the reminder email, and syllabus with the registration links, that went out earlier today!

- With winter weather in the forecast, remember that in most cases, FCS follows Montgomery County Public Schools decisions on school closures and delays. If school is delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather, you will receive a parent text alert and an email. You can also see announcements on our website fcs.school and wtop.com in the school closures section.

- January 14, 2024 is a no school holiday for Martin Luther King, Jr. day.
- January 19, 2024 is the end of the second quarter and a half day for students.
- Second semester MS electives begin on Monday, January 22, 2024.
- February 19, 2024 is a no school holiday for President’s Day.
- March 25-April 1 is Easter Break. School resumes on Tuesday, April 2.
I continue to be amazed as I witness God’s provision and favor for the ministry here at Forcey Christian School. I’m thankful for another year to be a part of this great team of teachers, teachers’ assistants, office administrative staff, and you, our FCS parents. I’m honored and proud to be a part of the mission work that we do here each day.
