- Help us finish out the year strong with one final service project to benefit the Silver Spring Christian Reformed Church Food Pantry. Please see the attached flyer!
- Forcey Library is sponsoring the used book sale, which will take place on June 7th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The proceeds will be used toward purchasing additional books for our students to check out. If you would like to help, please contact Mrs. Groom at hannah-groom@fcs.school.

From the Athletic Director: 2024 Fall MS Soccer & Volleyball Tryout
- Girls Volleyball Tryouts: August 12th & 14th, 5:00pm – 6:30pm at SASDAC
- Boys Soccer Tryouts: Wed, Aug 14th and Fri, Aug 16th at Fairland Recreational Park
- All students need an updated Athletic Permission form signed by a physician before tryouts.
- Eligible students must maintain a 2.5 GPA with no failing grades. 4th quarter marking period will serve as the eligibility standard for fall sports.
- Attendance at tryouts is necessary for roster consideration.

PTO Update:
- Reminder – Used Uniform Sale – today, 3-4p, outside of church/school entrance, cash only
- Spring Fling, June 8th — volunteers!
- The PTO is looking for volunteers to help out that day. Please keep in mind that PTO cannot do this without our parents. Below is the sign-up link. If you can help out, please sign up. We would also need cake donations for that day. It doesn’t have to be big, but it should be store-bought.
- If you can volunteer a little during our event, it would be helpful and hugely appreciated. There is still time to promote your business, we have availability. The last day to submit payment and logo is May 30, 2024, please contact Martha at 240-515-5748.

- Keep up with important dates on our website calendar all year long at https://fcs.school/calendar.
- The last day of the fourth quarter is Wednesday, June 5. All fourth-quarter work must be turned in by this day to receive credit.
- Saturday, June 8 is our annual Spring Fling Community event sponsored by the FCS PTO.
- Friday, June 7 is a half day for students and professional day for staff.
- Tuesday, June 11 is 8th grade graduation and the last day for our 8th graders.
- Wednesday, June 12, is a half day and the last day of school.
