Coach Burgess shared devotions with the staff today. He shared from a devotional entitled “A prayer for God to bring you through a challenging life phase”. May is a very busy season for educators and for parents. It seems like once one May activity is crossed off the list, there’s another one behind it. These seasons can be more than tiring, they can add anxiety and stress to an already busy life. The Habakkuk verse below reminds us that God is the source of our strength. A reminder that He is in control of all things. This should strengthen us and be a comfort in the mundane life events and in the stressful busy seasons. So have hope today! God’s control is our strength!

The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. ~Habakkuk 3:19.

A blessed and happy Mother’s Day to all of our special moms. Please tell all of your children and spouses that Mrs. Vislay said you are not to cook or do any cleaning on Sunday!!!
