 Mark Your Calendar

Another school year has come to a close. Tuesday evening, June 11, we said goodbye to the 2024 graduating class of Forcey Christian School. We conducted kindergarten graduation, fifth grade promotion ceremony, and the ES and MS academic awards assemblies this week. It was busy week! As I sit in my office today, getting caught up with some emails, I notice how quiet the building is without the students and teachers. The office staff will enjoy the quiet for a while. But we know we will be  gearing up for another busy school year in just a few short weeks, We pray you have a restful and relaxing summer with your families.

God’s word speaks about the importance of Sabbath rest. Let’s remember to take some time off each week for this Sabbath rest. And do enjoy slowed-down times with your children this summer. They are only this age once. The days are long but the years are short.

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” ~Mark 6:31

Have a wonderful summer!
