Updates and Happenings

    • On August 17, Forcey Bible Church is conducting a volunteer workday. One area of focus is preparing the grounds for the first day of school. If you can assist with the efforts, please contact Richard-Mallett @forcey.org. More information and specifics will come in next Friday’s newsletter.
    • Middle School Elective Choice Links were sent out on Monday, July 29, 2024, and will be live through Monday August 12, 2024. Please have your middle school student complete the choice rankings. We will do our best to put your child in their top 3 choices. No changes or switches can be made once the electives have been added to the schedule.
    • Please contact office@fcs.school with any changes to your contact information such as address or phone number.
    • Be sure and like and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for the latest pictures and video of happenings around FCS! FCS has a goal for 1,000 followers. We are close, so tell your friends and family to like our IG and FB pages!
    • My Day Out at Forcey has both job opportunities and spaces available in their 3’s class. MDO is for 2- and 3-year old’s, designed to give caregivers time off and children a structured time away from their primary caregivers.  This gives them time to play cooperatively with other children and prepare them for preschool. Our teachers are loving, Christian women who have a heart for children. MDO offers playtime, snack, Bible stories, singing, and craft time. We are open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9am-1pm from mid-September to mid-May.  If you are interested in applying for a position or registering for a spot, visit us online at www.forcey.org/mdo.

Our theme for the 2024-2025 school year is Becoming Like Jesus. This is based on our theme verse for the year, “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ” ~Colossians 1:28. While it is part of our mission to raise disciples and send students out from our school into the world prepared and mature in Christ, this year we will have a renewed focus on discipleship. Teaching our students who Jesus Christ is, what He did for us, and how to walk in relationship with him. We want our students to understand that we strive to live a Godly life not because we must but because it pleases Him. And it is through the daily relationship with Jesus that our motives and desires become unified with His. As we strive to teach and model discipleship and spiritual maturity with our students, we continue to carry out our vision to educate students in their lifelong journey for the glory of Jesus Christ.

“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ” ~Colossians 1:28.
