Recap: A big thank you to all those who raised funds for our Annual Fun Run. The school raised over $25,000! Praise the Lord! Congratulations to our class winners and individual student winners. Student portraits are Nov 13 and 14. Parents please remember to pick up on time. Please refer to the Parent Handbook that is located under Parent Resources. On another note, FCS is happy to share that old t-shirts are being collected to be repurposed into jump ropes for Operation Christmas Child. OCC is one of the two service projects that FCS is currently focused on this Christmas season. The other service project is Toy Mania with ImageMakers Ministries. Remember to check out the Calendar and the PTO Calendar for reminders and upcoming events. The Scholastic Book Fair begins next week – November 11th through 15th. In this week’s chapel, we celebrated new inductees in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). A message from our principal, Cheri Vislay, reminded us that it is easy to get caught in the events all around us, which can lead to stress, anxiety, and fear. But as believers, our hope comes from the Lord. And fear does not come from God. Psalm 52 encourages us to find rest in God. He is our rock and salvation. In Him comes peace, rest, and stability.
