Foundations

Forcey students serve and help their community.

At Forcey Christian School, our students are encouraged to live God’s love in their everyday lives and a part of that is service to others.  As such, teachers often incorporate service to others in their day-to-day classroom objectives.  In the past, students have collected coats and canned goods, sung at area nursing homes, raised funds and packed meals for the area hungry.

Operation Christmas Child

Every November, Forcey Christian School students enjoy filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Individual students, whole classrooms and middle school small groups gather together to fill and wrap shoe boxes with supplies and gifts to send all over the world in the name of Christ.

Teaming up with Rainbow Community Development Center

The boys basketball team sowed into our local community by teaming up with Rainbow Community Development Center by preparing and packing groceries to help those within the community in need. We are proud of our young men for representing Forcey Christian School and helping to bring “food and faith” to our community.

National Junior Honor Society Food Drive

Each year, FCS’s National Junior Honor Society members conduct a food drive to benefit the Food Pantry at the Silver Spring Christian Reformed Church. Food items such as rice, oil, cereal, canned meat, and beans are collected and dropped off in designated areas around the building. In addition to food items, hygiene items are also collected, such as toilet paper, tissue, hand soap, and toothpaste to list a few. 

Good Neighbors

Forcey Christian School, in alignment with our mission to educate children in their lifelong journey for the glory of Jesus Christ, recently extended our outreach to the Baltimore City community. We proudly adopted a neighboring school, actively engaging our FCS community in collecting and delivering newly purchased uniform clothing, including khaki pants and light blue polos. Through this endeavor, we emphasize our commitment to academic, spiritual, and social development, equipping students for their life ministries.
